OrderI just want to say, for a secluded town this restaurant knows what they're doing. I had the grilled red fish and it was one of the best dishes I've had in a while. The rice had so much flavor, the shrimp was seasoned so well, the grits were delicious and the fish was amazing. I'm so glad I stopped here. The town is very charming and the restaurant is beautiful.
What an awesome little place. The barkeep was also the owner and she treated me like family. After having an awesome shrimp and grits, they treated me to a free dessert of the banana bread pudding. The main dish was great. Perfectly cooked, good flavor and definitely the best grits I've had. Not to mention they had live music and good people
Our first experience at Bistro 55 was wonderful and we were planning our next trip before we left. The owners and servers were all extremely friendly and inviting, and the chef even came out to make sure we enjoyed our meal. The patio was very charming. We really enjoyed the beautiful decor and cool hangout area. The debris fries were delicious and the fried green tomatoes and crab meat were divine. Also, the enclosed patio made it very convenient for families with little kids like mine. We can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu!
For starters, the restaurant is in a very popular spot in Old Town Slidell. We was greeted very kindly. The atmosphere is very nice and comforting! The owners are very nice that interact with the customers, the atmosphere and sitting is in 5 star condition! The wait staff is very friendly and care highly of their customers. The food is VERY VERY delishious! They have a full bar that u can have drinks and hang out with friends and watch the games. The prices are affordable with a good portion of food on your plate. I very much approve Bistreaux
Wonderful place with a beautiful atmosphere. Food and service is top notch. This a great place for locals and visitors to go and experience a very comfortable meal, drinks and relax.
